RedNote / Xiaohongshu Chrome Extension — AutoShu
A browser extension that runs on the RedNote / Xiaohongshu web pages you already see. Local-first, no account sync, no server-side automation.

Supported browsers
- Chrome 100+
- Edge 100+ (Chromium-based)
- Other Chromium browsers (Brave, Arc, Opera) — based on Manifest V3 compatibility
Not currently supported: Firefox, Safari (different extension mechanism, would need a separate build).
Installation
Option A — Chrome Web Store
- Open the Chrome Web Store listing
- Click "Add to Chrome"
- Confirm in the popup
- Find AutoShu in your extensions list
Option B — Manual load (developers only)
- Open chrome://extensions and enable Developer mode
- Unzip the AutoShu package
- Click "Load unpacked" and pick the folder
Production users should use Option A — automatic updates follow the platform.
Permissions
- Access to RedNote / Xiaohongshu: required for interaction
- Storage: local config and history
- Notifications: task complete, anomaly alerts
- Does NOT: read other sites, access clipboard, upload account credentials
